If you believe you have unauthorized transactions on your account please contact us IMMEDIATELY. If it is after business hours please call one of the following numbers and report any unauthorized transactions so your card can be blocked to prevent further fraudulent charges.

The best way to catch fraudulent charges early is to check your balance and transaction history online through SUN CU's Online Banking or by calling our Member Audio Response Service line at 800-419-0953.
You have fraudulent charges now what happens?
Step One: Contact us immediately so we can place a block on your card (if after hours contact the numbers above).
Step Two: We will order you a new card (for no charge). This card will take 7-10 business days to arrive to you.
Step Three: You will be asked to provide a card holder letter (the member service representative handling your account will inform you of the specifics which need to be included in this letter).
Step Four: You will be asked to fill out a Card Holder Dispute form, which MUST BE NOTARIZED. If you are at one of our locations we have notary services available for free.
Step Five: We will issue a provisional credit to your account, either the same business day or the next business day, in the amount indicated on the Card Holder Dispute form.
*If for any reason it is determined that the charges are NOT fraudulent the charges will be reinstated to your account and you will be responsible for them as well as any overdrafts which occur at the time the charges are reinstated.

SUN Credit Union is always looking out for the security of our members. We will never send you an unsolicited email asking for personal information online. Never provide your personal information to links sent to you through email. Notify a SUN Credit Union representative immediately if you suspect someone may have your information.
