About us

SUN Credit Union was originally started by the employees of the City of Hollywood.  It was chartered in 1946,  and is a not for profit cooperative organized to provide our members with low-cost financial services. We are governed by a volunteer board of directors who are elected by and from the membership. Membership to the Credit Union is restricted to employees of our field of membership, and family of current members.

All profits of the Credit Union are returned to our members in the form of dividends, low cost loans and new services. We strive to meet the needs of our membership by providing new products and services that meet your expectations, thereby becoming your primary financial institution.

Our Purpose and Mission Statement

SUN Credit Union is a cooperative, non-profit association organized under the laws of the State of Florida, for the purposes of encouraging thrift among its members, creating sources of credit at fair and reasonable rates of interest, and providing an opportunity for its members to use and control their resources on a democratic basis in order to improve their economic and social condition.
